Abstract

Studies and research indicate a decline in the efficiency of irrigation water use in the cultivation of wheat crops irrigated by supplementary irrigation in Nineveh Governorate for the 2023-2024 production season, as a result of farmers’ tendency to waste water, The majority of water is used for agricultural purposes to improve the efficiency of irrigation water use on the farm and thus reduce waste in its use. This research article aims to study the reality of wheat crop production irrigated by supplementary irrigation in Nineveh Governorate for the production season 2023-2024 and to clarify the challenges facing farmers and appropriate solutions for them.
