Abstract

This research aims to investigate the feasibility of applying a hybrid manufacturing system at the Badush Cement Factory/Expansion, through the use of modern technologies in hybrid manufacturing processes. The current research problem arises from the main question: How can a hybrid manufacturing system be implemented at the Badush Cement Factory/Expansion as a research community? This is done by analyzing the current situation at the factory and identifying challenges that hybrid manufacturing can help address, with the goal of creating a developed work environment capable of producing outstanding products that meet the changing market needs in terms of type, quantity, quality, and cost, while enhancing its competitiveness and environmental suitability. The researchers adopted a descriptive approach, using a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection, which was distributed to a sample of 124 valid questionnaires for analysis, representing the workforce at the workplace. The data was analyzed and processed using the statistical software programs (SPSS v.26) and (PLS-Smart v.3). A set of conclusions was reached, including the possibility of applying hybrid manufacturing at the company level covered by the research, accompanied by a degree of variation in the dimensions. Several suggestions were made, including the need for greater attention from the factory management to the dimensions of hybrid manufacturing due to their importance in various activities and manufacturing processes.
