Publishing Process
All manuscripts submitted to the NTU Journal of Renewable Energy (NTU-JRE) undergo a transparent and fair editorial and peer-review process.

Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office checks each submission to ensure that it complies with the journal's scope, submission guidelines, ethical standards, and plagiarism policy. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected before peer review.

Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for originality, scientific quality, methodology, significance, and clarity.

Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final editorial decision after considering the reviewers' reports.
Possible decisions include:
Accept.
Minor Revision.
Major Revision.
Reject.

If the reviewers provide conflicting recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief may invite an additional independent reviewer or make a decision based on the available reports and editorial assessment.

Editorial Independence and Conflicts of Interest
If a manuscript is submitted by the Editor-in-Chief, an Editorial Board member, or an editor, the manuscript will be handled by an independent editor who has no conflict of interest. The author-editor will not participate in the review process or the editorial decision.
Editors and reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest. Individuals with a conflict of interest are excluded from handling or evaluating the manuscript.

Revision and Acceptance
Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified time. Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

Production and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, proofreading, layout editing, and final author approval before publication.

Publication Charges
Publication fees, where applicable, are charged only after final acceptance. Payment of publication charges does not influence the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, or the final publication decision.

Submission, peer review, and editorial decision-making are not conditional upon payment, and fee waivers or discounts do not influence editorial decisions.

Publication Ethics
The journal follows the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure fairness, transparency, integrity, and confidentiality throughout the publication process.
