The current review focuses on voltammetric and amperometric sensors measurement methods applied for the determination of thyroid hormones in the past seven years (2016-2023) and It provides an overview of their properties for medical applications. Analytical performance of voltammetric or amperometric chemical and biochemical sensors (linear range and detection limit) are highlighted.
