Investigation of The Cu/water Nanofluids Laminar Convective Heat Transfer in A Pipe
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigates the thermal behavior of nanofluids (Cu/Water) in a pipe under continuous heat flow. A profile along of the fully developed flow with a uniform velocity distribution was imposed at the boundary of the inlet. It is demonstrated that fully developed and consistent flow profiles are affected by the temperature along the pipe. While volume fractions below 3% have little effect on local heat transfer, the local heat transfer coefficient along the pipe increases as the volume fraction does. It is demonstrated that when the Reynolds number increases, both the Nusselt number and local heat exchanges decrease. The Nusselt number falls as the volume % of nanoparticles rises, in contrast to previous studies
